Yuan Ze University's 35th-anniversary celebration took place on March 23. Following tradition, the sports meet was held concurrently with the anniversary celebration, incorporating a community art festival and a fair. It extended an invitation to high school students to visit and learn about Yuan Ze University. That day, 35 tables were set for the alumni reunion party, fostering a sense of unity among alumni, faculty, and students.
The anniversary sports event began with approximately 500 faculty and students, led by President Liao Ching-Jong, participating in a campus run, marking the commencement of the celebration activities. President Liao Ching-Jong stated that Yuan Ze University ranks among the top private universities in terms of teaching, research, and internationalization. It is one of the few private universities with no vacancies for recommended admissions through the Stars Project, demonstrating its popularity. Furthermore, the starting salaries of Yuan Ze University graduates are among the top 10% of all 136 universities in the country, surpassing many national universities. In response to the trend of globalization, the university has launched the "Thousand Students Abroad Program" to nurture students' international perspectives and interdisciplinary challenge capabilities. Facing the competition of global higher education, a comprehensive plan for internationalization has been formulated. It is believed that within five years, Yuan Ze will enter the top 500 universities worldwide, becoming Taiwan's most internationalized first-class university.
