Yuan Ze University's 2024 Glorious Graduation: Encouraging Graduates to "Dedicate and Enjoy Their Work"

Yuan Ze University's 2024 graduation ceremony was held on Saturday, June 8th, at 6:30 PM in front of the Yuan Ze Building 5 Plaza. This year, about 2,400 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students graduated. The ceremony theme, "Stars Crossing the Sky, Setting Sail on Yuan Dreams," symbolizes the fireworks rising in the silent night, reflecting the twinkling stars, and the fleeting youth. As the whistle sounds, despite the vast ocean ahead, they will still set sail towards their dreams! Taoyuan City Deputy Mayor Su Junbin delivered a speech at the event, and the university's board chairman Xu Xudong attended the ceremony, congratulating the graduates on completing this significant milestone in their lives and offering his blessings and encouragement.

In his speech, Yuan Ze University President Liao Qingrong expressed that with the efforts of the board and all faculty and students, Yuan Ze continually improves the quality of education and has gained remarkable prestige. In surveys of businesses' most preferred university graduates, Yuan Ze graduates are highly recognized by the corporate world. He presented the graduates with four characters: "Dedicate and Enjoy." Dedicating means fully committing to one's work, diligently solving problems, and contributing to society. To enjoy means to take pleasure in one's work, turning it into a joy and relishing it. He cited Jensen Huang, the CEO of NVIDIA, as a model of dedication and enjoyment, someone who immerses himself in and enjoys his work in various positions. President Liao mentioned that Yuan Ze University is also one of NVIDIA's partners, continuously advancing in AI research over the years. Finally, President Liao encouraged the graduates to bravely pioneer their lives and give back to society and their alma mater. Whether entering the workforce or continuing their studies, they should uphold the attitude of dedication and enjoyment to become better versions of themselves.
