“Hug Our Precious” entertains the elderly

The event “2016 Care for the Elderly in the Moon Festival”, hosted by Yangmei Station of Huashan Social Welfare Foundation and YZU, takes place in front of the Far Eastern Taoyuan Department Store on August 18. YZU President Jyh-Yang Wu (吳志揚) and Welfare Committee Chair Shuo-Ren Li (李碩仁) attend the entertaining event, joined by Head of Post Office Taoyuan Branch Chao-Hsieh Ku (古兆賢) and Deputy Director of Far Eastern Planning Department Kuan-Ling Huang (黃冠菱). The elderly guests receive hugs from the young, and their smiles with satisfaction show it is a fruitful and warm event.

“The elderly is the precious in our society, and we should respect and treasure them more.” Mr. Wu says. He adds that many people are getting immersed deeply in the Pokemon Heat in Taiwan, and they should keep the family in mind, especially the elderly.
