YZU offers English Language Program to fulfill new Southbound policy

For the age of Globalization and new Southbound policy, all colleges in YZU offer English Language Program (ELP) for total 130 students in the coming academic year. YZU also sets up Southeast Asia Center and launched a Program called “Literature and Culture in Asia-Pacific Region.”

The goal of ELP is to develop a database of instructors with business backgrounds, expanding students’ vision for the global environment, help to build a network of contacts, and learn the variety of international cultures. Students have opportunities for overseas internships and deal with the lake of talents for the Southbound policy. YZU also plans to start new business programs and internships advised by the instructor with professional experiences to fulfill the enterprises’ need for setting up branches in Southeast Asia. YZU expects new programs to nurture business experts for the industry and make progress in student recruitment in ASEAN countries, contributing to the localized value and competitiveness of enterprises.
